I always start my seedling using the paper towel method. This is a simple, non-messy method that works very well for me. If you do not have paper towels, you can use coffee filters or newspapers. Whatever you decide to use to start your seeds, you can be sure that either of the materials will make a great growing medium. Here are a few items that you will need to prepare your seeds.

Whatever you decide to use to start your seeds, you can be sure that either of the materials will make a great growing medium. Here are a few items that you will need to prepare your seeds.
Plastic baggies.

- Paper towels or coffee filters, or newspaper.
- The seeds of your choice.
- Water
- A warm location or a heating mat (optional).
Step 1: Start by folding your paper towel to the size of your baggie, ensuring it fits inside the baggie loosely.

Step 2: Fold a second paper towel to the same size as your first paper towel.

Step 3: Remove both paper towels from the plastic baggie and moisten them with water.

Step 4: Place your seeds on one of the moistened paper towels.
Step 5: Cover the seeds with the second moistened paper towel.
Step 6: Carefully slide both paper towels into the plastic baggie.
Step 7: Close the baggie and place it in a warm place or use a heating mat.
Step 8: After the seeds have germinated, remove the paper towels from the baggie and transplant the seeds into the growing medium of your choice.
Step 9: Place your transplanted seeds under a grow light, or you can place them on a windowsill.
